Crans-Montana is the sun terrace of the Alps and affords a panorama stretching from Simplon to Mont-Blanc.
There is skiing on the snow from the glacier (3,000 metres above sea level) down into the valley at 1,500 metres. The 140 km of slopes, including La Nationale, one of the settings for the alpine skiing world cup, and la Plaine-Morte with its 12 km descent, are suitable for both world champions and beginners. Experienced freestylers may also visit the 50,000 m2 snow park with its Big Air and Rails…

6-day pass
For GA and half-fare cardholders
Extend your journey a little while longer with Snow'n'Rail while enjoying very favourable rates. Half-fare or personal General Abonnement cardholders pay the cost of the weekly pass (peak season) and travel by rail in addition to being able to send a pair of skis or a snowboard. Additional items will only cost you CHF 10.– per item/journey.
The following is included:
- Rail travel (2nd class) from any station in Switzerland to one of the 12 winter sports venues and return. The return ticket is valid for eight days.
- 6-day ski pass for the skiing destination of your choice. Valid for six consecutive days.
- Ski transport free of charge. With each 6-day ski pass a pair of skis or a snowboard may be dispatched free of charge by rail from your place of residence to the ski venue and back. GA cardholders may also send up to two additional items free of charge per journey when travelling by train (max. 25 kg/item).
